Hope you like the new picture.

Ladies, I have been missing in action these past few weeks.  I've been nursing what I thought was allergies which part of it is but I went to the doctor today and found out I've been fighting a viral infection.  The doctor was stunned out how large my tonsils were and I thought it very comical. The picture I put up is one of a Cactus flower that bloom this time of year and these gorgeous flowers are the direct cause of some of my problems! They are so gorgeous coming in all different colors.  Whoever said the desert was just dirt and no trees is totally mistaken.  I've never seen so many colors and so many things in bloom since I have lived out here which is almost one year by the way! 

Anyways I have ten million things on my mind and on my plate.  It's odd, as soon as I turned 25 all of these thoughts of marriage, babies, and my dream house suddenly came into play.  I love doing laundry, cleaning (vacuuming has to be my favorite), making lists and now thinking about doing those things the rest of my life.  There are two major things I want in my dream house, #1 being a big kitchen for Cody and I to cook in because that's where we like to hang out and we love to eat, and #2 a very large deck to read books on and drink coffee on in the morning.  The house could have the smallest bedrooms and have a leaking basement but if it meets those two things I'm sold! I'm ready to settle down and get married and think about all of these things that I want.  It will be 5 years in August with Cody and both of us are still head over heals in love with each other.  Now I want to celebrate that love and make it official, official being maybe in the next 2 years, I know this seems like a long time but for us that's right around the corner! 

A few things are on hold right now in our lives.  In a few months I will be able to discuss this but as of now I must keep my little mouth shut! Once we find out you girls will be the first to know! Don't worry its nothing serious, just following our path :)

I bought this new mascara from Bad Gal Last and I must share this information with you. It's from Benefit Cosmetics and it's a Plum mascara that I die for every time I put it on.  You would think the Plum would like kinda over the top but I don't think I will ever go back to black mascara.  Here she is...BADgal Plum .  I'm also obsessed with Adele's new song "Rolling in the Deep", her voice is amazing.  Also loving on the Black Keys.  Have a great weekend!
