1. No Bread. No pasta. I blame the last 20lbs. I've gained on a cookbook I bought called Mediterranean Cooking. I was cooking like an authentic little old italian lady four nights a week.
2. I have been getting on the elliptical for 15 minutes before work and 30 minutes after work. Also, 3-4 days a week I am doing arms, legs, abs with some hand weights just to make sure I am toning as I am losing the lbs.
I knew the weight would melt off at first by making those changes to my diet and exercise. The difficult part will be in about 20-30 lbs. when I start to plateau. Then, I might need some help with workout ideas!
Jillian Michaels 30 day shred workout video is awesome! It's short, and has 3 different levels-- 1 level per day for one week, advancing each week. It works ALL areas... I'm SO sore afterward (especially my inner thighs, they hurt for 2 days solid) and I sweat, too... good workout. =)
