this is a perfect project! you could alter the colors and make one for any season you'd like. Yo-Yo's are so simple to make, or easy to find pre-made on Etsy. So my best friend in Holyoke (who happens to be a resident in the Assisted Living Facility half of the nursing home) was showing me how to make yo-yos just before Christmas. I could never imagine what they would be used fore. She was making a runner for her grand-daughters tea table, but like I do, was thinking practically. And this is a great idea, and very simple yet amazingly cute!
