First week of 2011.

Saying goodbye to 2010 was hard for me, it was the best year of my life!  But I have open arms for 2011.  It will be my first full year in this state.  We took Bear up to Payson about one hour from Phoenix, northeast of the city.  The city sits  at 5,000 feet so they got a ton of snow this past week.  While we were getting rain they were getting snow.  So we decided to let Bear experience his first snow.  I was a little anxious to see how he would react.  Obviously we wanted him to love it, eat it, roll around in it but I for some reason had a feeling he would hate it because he was a puppy in the hottest months of the year.  Thankfully he loved every second of it! We plan to settle down in Colorado or Oregon (our 3 year plan), so its important that he likes snow at an early age because that's where we want to end up. It was one of those perfect Sundays.  I could go to Payson every weekend.  We just ordered a new tent and new sleeping bags, we plan on camping up there in a few weeks.  I have a feeling we will be living in that tent by April.

On a side note I decided to check out this spinning class on Monday night.  It's called Studio 360, a little hole in the wall spin class in Phoenix.  It was an intermediate class  so I was like of course I can do this, I cycle on the roads all the time.  Well by intermediate I think they meant we are going to physically hand over your ass to you at the end of the class.  I swear I was only in the saddle for 2 minutes the entire 60 minute class. Which means we were doing sprint intervals and hill intervals the whole time.  Cody was a cycling instructor at IU and I took his class and felt the burn there but he had us train also in our saddle.  What was great about this class was the it was in the dark, well not totally dark, she would turn very little light on.  At one point I thought I was bleeding because the sweat starting pouring, I mean pouring, down my legs.  If you have never experienced a spinning class I highly suggest it.  It's the only class that I can completely let my thoughts float away and my full attention is on what I am doing at that moment.

My Buckeyes won last night!!!!! Our town is being taken over by all of these bowl games, Oregon fans and Auburn fans are everywhere! It's fun though to live in a city where they host these college games.  I saw College Gameday last night which was totally unexpected we kind of just walked up on it.  Where we walk Bear and shop is where they are hosting it. I'm going to run today probably on a trail.  Happy New Years girls!! Let's start this year off right and finish strong! I love all of the posts, keep it up!
