Labor Day Weekend

So I spent this weekend in Ruskin, FL for a dear friends wedding. The wedding was ideal, exactly my kind of wedding, 18 minutes from start to finish, barefoot, on the beach! Does it get much better than that! It was a much needed break from my hectic lifestyle up here. Not much can beat days drinking and reading on the beach. Laura was a beautiful bride and the setting was perfect! Dinner afterward was delicious and we just decided to stay up all night and drink and go swimming until 2 in the morning. It was fun, but meant Sunday was spent tired as all get out. Worth it though to be able to celebrate with such great friends.

Being able to spend some time reading this weekend was great as well! I bought a new book when I was flying home from my last vacation but have not had the time to read much of it (see previous post from me). It was The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, when I grabbed it in the airport I had never heard of it. But this weekend alone I saw more than 10 people with the book. It is also being made into a movie (arent all decent books anymore). I highly recommend this book. I am still trying to figure out what I like to read and this was a mystery/thriller with love stories tied in. I typically enjoy lighter reading but this was so good I cannot wait to get Stieg Larsson's other books!

That is about all from me. 2 weeks left at work! My soccer team is 3-0-1. I miss you all like crazy, yes even you girls in town because I have not had time to see you in a while. BUT this weekend I will be here all weekend with no plans!
