Grand Canyon

My trip to the Grand Canyon this weekend was pretty much amazing.  First off the temperature as you go North dips down about 20 degrees.  Left Phoenix and it was in the high 90's and arrived in Flagstaff and it was in the low 70's.  We decided to go to Hopi Point a very popular spot to watch the sunset over the Canyon.  I must say that it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and probably will ever see.  The Canyon lights up bright pink with a deep orange. There were hundreds of people at this one specific point watching it like it was the super bowl. I hope all of you get the chance one day to see the Grand Canyon. You see it in pictures and on television but nothing does justice until you are standing right on the edge of it.  Again something I constantly am reminded of which is how insignificantly small we are. You see something so beautiful that everything you stress out about in life doesn't really matter, what matters is your appreciation for the life that you have been given.  I'm going again next month and all of those feelings will hit me again but this time I will get to share it with the person I love the most.
