Upcoming Events

Summer is not my favorite season, actually it's my least favorite season.  Once September hits I come back to life.  I'm going to share some of the things I have planned in the next months.  We have 9 more days in August. Starting September 1st is my Wellness program at work which I am very excited about.  On September 2nd the Buckeyes kick off their season, once this happens I know fall is right around the corner.  September 9th my dear friend Susan is flying from her home in Miami to stay with Stephanie and I for a few days.  When you get the three of us together it's like getting the three Musketeers together, we are equally obsessed with each other and always get into trouble. The 5k I'm getting people from work involved in happens the week after.

Now the month of October is special because my wonderful boyfriend is turing the big 25! Oh man that means I'm going to be turning 25, maybe I should start writing a book on what I learned in my early twenties. Well anyways he has not yet been to the Grand Canyon so we are going the weekend of his birthday. We purchased this super neat National Parks pass that gets you into any National Park for an entire year.  I hope to get some amazing photos of the sunset while we are up there, last time I went it was snowing so there was no sunset!

The first weekend of November we will be heading to Vegas!!!!! In all reality I'm sure we will be in bed by 10 every night because the reason we are going up to the Sin City is because Cody is competing in a Half Ironman.  Now what is a Half Ironman? It's a swim ( 1.2 miles), bike (56 miles), and lastly run (13.1 miles). Yes my boyfriend is crazy and yes I will be running around like a crazy person trying to get as many photos of him I possibly can. I'm beyond proud of him and amazed at how much dedication this one person has.  So here is a goodbye to June, July, and August. With a warm welcome to September, October, and November! Sadly I will have to drive a few hours north to get some fall foliage, so here below is a picture I took last fall to remind me of the transformation.
