I am glad to hear that everyone else is busy as well. It makes me feel like my life is a little less insane!!
To shed some insight here is my typical day...
4.30-4.45: wake up
4.50: let Max out
5-5.45/6 head to the gym
6ish: come home shower, feed max and take him out again
6.30: leave for work
7.30: arrive at work
4.30: leave for home
5.40:get home, change, take out max
6-8.30: soccer
9: shower
9.30: talk to Jeremy until I am about to fall asleep (usually before 10.30)
That is what my weeks look like every day. I am tired of it. Then my weekends are usually something like this...
Friday night: bachelorette party
Saturday: Soccer
Saturday night: wedding
Sunday: wedding shower or family party
Needless to say I have very little time to myself these days. I tend to bask in any free minutes I have. Now being in a long distance relationship I am realizing how much effort it requires. Not that I am not enjoying every minute of it because I truly am. I cannot wait for you guys to meet Jeremy. He is coming in town Sept 17-20, we will be in Louisville on Saturday the 18th, but if yall wanna come meet him that would be fun! But being in different time zones is hard. The only time we can really have a conversation longer than 10-20 minutes is at night before I go to bed. By then I usually am so tired I am not much of a conversationalist.
I have this week plus 2 more on my contract at work! I cannot wait to be finished working at that hell hole. The nursing home I am currently at is somewhere I would not send anyone I cared remotely about. There are few things in life that I have anticipated as much as I am being finished working there. My last day is Sept 17, which also happens to be the day Jeremy is flying in! Needless to say that will be a great day for me! My next assignment is still up in the air. I will let you all know as soon as I do about that. I am excited to learn more details about my next location- I want to be in Colorado so bad. I think more than any reason because it means I will not have all the commitments I have here. I will be able to go to work, come home and eat dinner and spend time with Max. Not grab something on the run and just let him out front.
Thats basically my life in a nutshell. I am leaving for FL this Friday. For SURPRISE... a wedding! But it will be a lot of fun. Laura and DJ are 2 of my good friends and I am lucky to be able to support them as they make their wedding vows on the beach this Saturday. More updates to come... maybe next time I will include pictures!
Ashley I can totally relate to everything in this post. The long distance relationship business is a tough one. Cody and I rarely talked during the week because our schedules were opposite. Plus living in Cincinnati made it difficult for me to have "me" time because all of my friends and family wanted to see me and I wanted to drive off to Indiana to see Cody. It's difficult to give yourself alone time but once you move all the way to Colorado you will have so much free time and find out stuff you never knew you loved! I can't wait to meet Jeremy! I'm so happy for you and proud of you!
