The joys of owning a home...

So my post isn't nearly as insightful as Lauren's but, as a first time blogger, I am not exactly sure what to write. I am going to chose to write about my upcoming weekend plans... which is going to consist mostly of fixing my house up. I miss the days when things broke and you called the landlord and it was fixed when you got home from work. :(. For instance, if the landlord fairy would come in and fix my hot water heater that would be super. Since there is no such thing as someone who goes around breaking into homes fixing things I am forced to spend the majority of this HOT weekend doing just that. I am painting my living room and bathroom. I don't hate painting so that won't be so bad. But then I have to weed the garden in like 110 degree Cincinnati weather. For those of you that have moved and forget what that is like just picture standing on the sun. In other news we are looking for our first win in volleyball tonight. Go Larrys!!! Sunday we are having dinner with Matt, Ande, and Josh. I'm crossing my fingers Matt and Ande bring the adorable Lucas with them!! :) I also just took me second to last test for my new job and I am just 2 weeks away from doing actual work. I'm dreading it and excited about it all at the same time. Well that is it for now!! Toodles!!
