It's a very special day...

It's our beloved Katie's birthday!!! We love you! Enjoy your day; you deserve it! And I know I speak for everyone, when I say that we wish we could spend it with you! Just know we are thinking of you and sending you Happy Birthday vibes!

P.S. Maybe Lauren can eat a cupcake in your honor ;)

Funny that you say that Holly...I actually had a Red Velvet last night!!! I felt like I worked hard and wanted to celebrate the beginning of my 3 day weekend! Happy Birthday Katie!!! Have a very special day!

Thanks Holly!! I just saw this... these sweet things are what make birthdays great.
The kids I watch made me an adorable birthday cake buried so far under in sprinkles and icing that I'm not sure there even was a cake there anymore. and hubs' present was a set of pier 1 dishes i found at goodwill. if you know me, you know this makes me extremely happy. :)

Welcome to our Blog!

Life takes us on many journeys. Some of those journeys involve putting 2,000 miles between yourself and others. We have Holly living her life in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Kristin, Katie, and Jenn in our beloved Cincinnati, where we all became friends. Christina in Salt Lake City, Lauren in Arizona, and Ashley patiently waiting till October to move to Colorado. We all have very busy lives and don't have time to communicate with one another as much as we would like. So we are creating this blog to share pictures, stories, recipes, books, travel advice, and our deep appreciation for the friendships we have formed over the years. I will be having East pictures up for a few weeks and then changing to West pictures. Enjoy our stories from East to West!
